Tumours producing hypoglycaemia

Introduction

Hypoglycaemia is one of the commonest of medical emergencies mainly due to its high frequency as a complication of insulin therapy of diabetes. It sometimes arise, however, ‘spontaneously’ as a manifestation of other diseases. The present review deals exclusively with hypoglycaemia caused by neoplastic disease.
